My picture is to convey that the people you love are based on choices and chances you give to get close. This picture has my friends that i have loved like sister and gave a chance to in elementary and middle school. It also contains my family that I love. It also has my boyfriend that we both gave a roll at if we could be good together.

Photoshop Tutorial Quest

    The tutorials I found and choose to do were very easy to follow. They were easy in the sense that they should me what to do step by step. In the steps it showed me the measurements I needed to use or the pictures of the tools they used. It also was very organized by labeling the layers and keeping them in order. The effects I used were a lot of steps but was not too complicated. A lot of it was using the effects that photoshop provides but manipulating them. Such as using the diffuse step but shifting the layers to cause a 3D effect. The 1st effect I used was "X-Solar effect" and the 2nd was "3D effect".

I enjoyed the effects but the 3D effect was cool but weird the way it came out on my picture. I feel like if I used a different picture it could look better. I was satisfied with the outcome of the X-Solar effect. Overall I enjoyed the outcome of my photos.

Semester 1 Review

1.) I enjoyed the projects that we did in photo 1. I feel like I used my imagination but I definitely could of used more. I feel like I slacked on imagination in taking the photos so I was not able to do anything in photoshop with them. I feel like I should try to go out beyond my house/neighborhood to take photos. Such as going on a nature trail or somewhere that relates to the theme of the project. I feel like I was tight with my time. I should spend time on details but not too much that I run out of time. I should experiment more with photoshop tools or other programs to improve my skills and my work. I am always on time to class and never late. For 2nd semester I feel that i can be successful if I follow the improvements I listed above. I just need to stay focus but have an open imaginative mind.
